For the cake mixture, I followed the sponge cake recipe~ At 1st it looked good after mixing everything, but as we fold too much, we can see that our mixture was like... deflating? While baking, the cake did rise but only a little, that's where I noticed the cake was fail... And true enough, after removing it from the oven and, the cake was kinda hard, sigh...
While the cake was baking, I prepared the toppings and fillings at the same time. Even though I know it's a fail cake, but I didn't wanna waste it for I had already spent my whole evening, so I chose to continue.
For the toppings and fillings, I know it's always gonna be too sweet if we follow the original recipe, so I cut down on that because my mum had diabetes and too much sugar is not good for her, but it was still too sweet, so I failed again...
I know it looked quite okay, but trust me that you wouldn't wanna try, hard cake and sweet fillings and toppings, it will give you a kick in your tummy...
Well, I won't just give up like that, I'll try this again. And by that time, if it passes, I'll share the recipe too.
(Don't mind me for not sharing now, I would rather share a better one with you.)
