Spiral Pasta

Spiral Pasta

I had applied leave for today not for any reason, but trying to use up my annual leaves, and so far this was my second leave for this year.

Got up late from bed, had my brunch, watched a lot of TV shows and rested a lot until my dad called and I promised him that I'll have dinner ready for the family.
Didn't really decide what to cook and I was too lazy to go out to the market. While I was looking for something to cook, I found the Spiral Pasta and Potato Puree.

Okay, so let's get this started.

Spiral Pasta:
500g San Remo Spiral Pasta
Big cooking pot of water
2 tablespoon oil

Put big pot of water on heat until water boils, then add pasta and oil (to prevent the pasta sticking onto the pot). Cook them until pasta is ready, then drain the water.

Cooked Pasta

Pasta Sauce:
2 canned tomatoes puree
100g minced onions
200g minced meat
1 canned mushrooms
1 tablespoon stock
4 tablespoons oil
Seasoning

1. Heat up oil in a large saucepan, then fry the onions (you can add garlics if you like).

2. Fry the mushrooms if you are using, then pour in the tomatoes puree and stir. You may add in some water if it's too thick. Stir until the sauce boils.

3. Add in stock while the sauce is boiling, then add in minced meat if you're using (you may also use meatballs) and let it cook for around 5-10 minutes, then turn off the fire. If you're using meatballs, let it cook longer until they are cooked.

4. Add some seasonings and it's ready to be served. You may also sprinkle some grated cheese on top of the pasta.
